Description

The TechDraw ExtensionPosVertChainDimension tool aligns vertical dimensions to create a chain dimension.

Usage

  1. Select two or more vertical dimensions.
  2. The first dimension defines the position. This dimension will not be move.
  3. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
    • Press the Position Vertical Chain Dimensions button.
    • Select the TechDraw → Extensions: Attributes/Modifications → Position Vertical Chain Dimensions option from the menu.
  4. The dimensions are aligned and their dimension texts are centered.

Notes

  • The tool can also be used to center the dimension text of a single dimension.
