While Stripe doesn't support monthly donations, you can still become a sponsor! Simply make a one-time donation equivalent to 12 months of support, and you'll gain access to the corresponding sponsoring tier. It's an easy and flexible way to contribute.

If you are not sure or not able to commit to a regular donation, but still want to help the project, you can do a one-time donation, of any amount.

Choose freely the amount you wish to donate one time only.

You can support FreeCAD by sponsoring it as an individual or organization through various platforms. Sponsorship provides a steady income for developers, allowing the FPA to plan ahead and enabling greater investment in FreeCAD. To encourage sponsorship, we offer different tiers, and unless you choose to remain anonymous, your name or company logo will be featured on our website accordingly.

from 1 USD / 1 EUR per month. You will not have your name displayed here, but you will have helped the project a lot anyway. Together, normal sponsors maintain the project on its feet as much as the bigger sponsors.

from 25 USD / 25 EUR per month. Your name or company name is displayed on this page.

from 100 USD / 100 EUR per month. Your name or company name is displayed on this page, with a link to your website, and a one-line description text.

from 200 USD / 200 EUR per month. Your name or company name and logo displayed on this page, with a link to your website and a custom description text. Companies that have helped FreeCAD early on also appear under Gold sponsors.

Instead of donating each month, you might find it more comfortable to make a one-time donation that, when divided by twelve, would give you right to enter a sponsoring tier. Don't hesitate to do so!

Choose freely the amount you wish to donate each month.

Please inform your forum name or twitter handle as a notein your transfer, or reach to us, so we can give you proper credits!

Description

The Cables Edit command is an extended version of the Draft Edit command which is compatible with the WireFlex objects. It preserves all properties of WireFlex (especially points attachments) while adding or removing vertexes. Editing can be performed with non zero Fillet Radius property and with any value of Path Type property. While in Cables Edit mode, all WireFlex editing commands can be executed using node or edge context menu: Add Vertex, Delete Vertex, Attach Vertex, Remove Vertex Attachment.

The Cables Edit command was not available in Cables Workbench version 0.1.4 and earlier.

Usage

  1. Optionally select one or more WireFlex objects. Note that although multiple objects can be in Cables Edit mode, objects can only be edited one at a time.
  2. There are several ways to invoke the command:
    • If you have not yet selected an object: double-click an object in the Tree View. This only works for WireFlex objects.
    • Press the Edit button.
    • Select the Cable Wires → Edit command from the menu.
    • Use the keyboard shortcut: D then E.
    • For a single object: right-click in the Tree View or the 3D View and select the Cable Wires → Edit option from the context menu.

The next steps and options are the same as in Draft Edit.

Notes

  • Do not use Draft Edit command to edit WireFlex objects. It can destroy proper order of point attachments and cause errors and unexpected behaviour of these objects.

Options

The basic options are the same as in Draft Edit. Context menu for node or edge is invoked using the same method as in Draft Edit.

Here are the node or edge context menu specific only for WireFlex.

  1. Node context menu: Attach point - AttachVertex command is executed. One external vertex has to be selected first and then keeping the CTRL pressed use the Attach point context menu (e.g. by holding down ALT key and clicking or double clicking the node). This option is visible only for not attached point.
  2. Node context menu: Remove point attachment - RemoveVertexAttachment command is executed. This option is visible only for attached point.
  3. Edge context menu: Make edge horizontal - Makes the edge horizontal by moving the vertex which is closer to the mouse cursor.
  4. Edge context menu: Make edge vertical - Makes the edge vertical by moving the vertex which is closer to the mouse cursor.
  5. Edge context menu: Make edge coaxial - Makes the edge coaxial to adjacent edge by moving the vertex which is closer to the mouse cursor (introduced in version 0.3.0).
