While Stripe doesn't support monthly donations, you can still become a sponsor! Simply make a one-time donation equivalent to 12 months of support, and you'll gain access to the corresponding sponsoring tier. It's an easy and flexible way to contribute.

If you are not sure or not able to commit to a regular donation, but still want to help the project, you can do a one-time donation, of any amount.

Choose freely the amount you wish to donate one time only.

You can support FreeCAD by sponsoring it as an individual or organization through various platforms. Sponsorship provides a steady income for developers, allowing the FPA to plan ahead and enabling greater investment in FreeCAD. To encourage sponsorship, we offer different tiers, and unless you choose to remain anonymous, your name or company logo will be featured on our website accordingly.

from 1 USD / 1 EUR per month. You will not have your name displayed here, but you will have helped the project a lot anyway. Together, normal sponsors maintain the project on its feet as much as the bigger sponsors.

from 25 USD / 25 EUR per month. Your name or company name is displayed on this page.

from 100 USD / 100 EUR per month. Your name or company name is displayed on this page, with a link to your website, and a one-line description text.

from 200 USD / 200 EUR per month. Your name or company name and logo displayed on this page, with a link to your website and a custom description text. Companies that have helped FreeCAD early on also appear under Gold sponsors.

Instead of donating each month, you might find it more comfortable to make a one-time donation that, when divided by twelve, would give you right to enter a sponsoring tier. Don't hesitate to do so!

Choose freely the amount you wish to donate each month.

Please inform your forum name or twitter handle as a notein your transfer, or reach to us, so we can give you proper credits!

Description

The Templater ToleranceFrame tool creates a tolerance frame or a datum frame as an SVG file and adds it to the selected view.

Tolerance frames and datum frame with editable entries

Usage

  1. Select a view or any geometry inside the view.
  2. There are several ways to invoke the tool.
    • Press the Tolerance Frame button.
    • Select the Templater → Tolerance Frame option from the menu.
  3. The Feature frame settings task panel opens.
  4. Select a Tolerance Type for a tolerance frame, or type a single (upper case) letter for a datum frame.
  5. If a tolerance type was selected adjust the following values:
(they will be ignored for a datum frame)
    • Optionally edit the Tolerance value.
    • Optionally edit each datum field, leave empty if not needed and succeeding fields will be ignored.
  6. Click Ok to close the task panel and finish the tool.
  7. A NewSymbol.svg file will be saved in the .../Mod/Templater/Resources folder and added to the selected view as a new FeatureFrame object.
  8. Drag the FeatureFrame object to its final position.
  9. Optionally adjust its values by editing the DataEditable Texts property in the Property View

Task Panel

  • Tolerance type: Sets the tolerance symbol in the first cell of a tolerance frame, or the single letter in the only cell of a datum frame.
  • Tolerance value: Sets the tolerance value in the second cell (and offers some predefined entries to have the diameter symbol at hand).
  • Datum1: Sets the first datum marker in the third cell. Values in following cells will be ignored if empty.
  • Datum2: Sets the second datum marker in the fourth cell. A value in following cell will be ignored if empty.
  • Datum3: Sets the third datum marker in the fifth cell.

Notes

  • The widths of the cells are calculated on creation and cannot be altered afterwards.
  • All texts in the cells are editable, in contrast the tolerance synbols are hard coded svg elements and cannot neither be edited nor swapped.

Properties

See also: Property View.

A FeatureFrame is derived from a TechDraw Symbol, formally a TechDraw::DrawViewSymbol object and inherits all its properties.
