Description
Prints the predefined facial output variables (forces and moments) to the ccx_dat_file.
introduced in 1.0: Can also print heat flux and drag stress (the latter requires the support for 3D fluid analyses with CalculiX which has not yet been implemented).
introduced in 1.2: Can also print electric flux in electrostatic analyses with refactored CalculiX solver. In addition to faces, edges can also be selected (they are equivalent to faces in 2D models).
introduced in 1.2: Section forces can be also printed when using the Z88 solver.
Usage
- There are several ways to invoke the command:
- Press the
Section Print Feature button.
- Select the Model → Geometrical Analysis Features →
Section Print Feature option from the menu.
- Press the
- Press the Add button and select a single face (introduced in 1.2: or edge for 2D models) for which the output will be printed. introduced in 1.1: To remove entities from the selection, press the Remove button.
- introduced in 1.0: From the Variable list, select the variable that you want to print: Section Force (introduced in 1.2: the only mode supported by the Z88 solver), Heat Flux or Drag Stress. introduced in 1.2: Electric Flux is also supported.
Notes
- The feature uses the *SECTION PRINT card in CalculiX.
