Description
The Assembly CreateJointCylindrical tool creates a Cylindrical joint between two selected parts, allowing rotation around a single axis and also a movement along the same axis.
Usage
- Optionally select two geometric entities of two different shapes. Other selections will be rejected.
- There are several ways to invoke the tool:
- Press the
Create Cylindrical Joint button.
- Select the Assembly →
Create Cylindrical Joint option from the menu.
- Use the keyboard shortcut: C.
- Press the
- The Create Joint dialog opens in the Task panel listing the pre-selected entities.

A Cylindrical object is derived from an App FeaturePython object and inherits all its properties. See Assembly CreateJointFixed for additional properties.
