The Help menu provides access to the help system and links to the FreeCAD website and forum.

Tools

The following tools are available in this menu:

The order of the tools matches the version 1.1 menu.

  • What's This: Opens the help documentation for a command.
  • Start Page: Opens the Start Page. introduced in 1.0
  • User Documentation: Opens the FreeCAD Users documentation wiki page.
  • FreeCAD Forum: Opens the FreeCAD forum.
  • Report an Issue: Opens the FreeCAD GitHub issues page.
  • Restart in Safe Mode: Restarts FreeCAD in a factory reset state for debugging. introduced in 1.0
  • Developers Handbook: Opens the FreeCAD Developers Handbook. introduced in 1.1
  • Python Modules Documentation: Opens the Python index of modules in your default Internet browser.
  • FreeCAD Website: Opens the main website of the FreeCAD project.
  • Donate to FreeCAD: Opens the FreeCAD Donate wiki page.
  • About FreeCAD: Opens a dialog box with information about FreeCAD.
