Description

The Sketcher MirrorSketch tool mirrors sketches across their X-axis, Y-axis, or origin.

Usage

  1. Select one or more sketches.
  2. There are several ways to invoke the tool:
    • Press the Mirror Sketch button (not available in the PartDesign Workbench).
    • Select the Sketch → Mirror Sketch option from the menu.
  3. The Select Mirror Axis or Point dialog opens.
  4. Select one of the available options:
    • X-axis
    • Y-axis
    • Origin
  5. Press the OK button.
  6. For each selected sketch a new sketch is created.

Notes

  • introduced in 1.2 When symmetry constraints are created, the mirrored geometry remains constrained to the original geometry.
  • If the mirrored geometry touches the mirror axis, the required constraints are created automatically.
