Description
The Part ToleranceSet command creates a parametric copy of selected objects with all contained tolerances set to at least a certain minimum value. The created object behaves like a compound if multiple objects are selected/added to the feature, or as a single shape if only one object is selected.
Tolerances affect subsequent OCCT functions such as boolean operations. Tolerances of sub-shapes can be inspected with the help of Subshapebinders and the Check Geometry command.
Usage
- Select one or more objects.
- Select the Part → Compound →
Set Tolerance option from the menu.
- A Tolerance object is created and the original object hidden.
