Description

The Show element coordinate system command toggles the visibility of element coordinate systems (ECSs).

An ECS is represented by 3 lines which meet at the elements origin:

  • a red line for the X axis
  • a green line for the Y axis
  • a blue line for the Z axis

Usage

  1. Activate the Show element coordinate system command using one of the following:
    • The Show element coordinate system button.
    • The Assembly3 → Element style → Show element coordinate system menu option.
